The Kings Lodge is a Grade II listed family run Bar, Restaurant & Hotel situated in Hunton Bridge, Hertfordshire.
Here you’ll find traditional log burning fires, original royal architecture, locally sourced and freshly prepared food and a wide selection of drinks.
We are well connected to surrounding areas (Abbots Langley, Kings Langley and Watford) and only a short 25 minute train journey into central London.

Seasonal and Local
From 9am till 9pm
We serve freshly prepared meals from breakfast, through to light lunches, pub classics and seasonal specials. We also have a well-stocked bar with cask ales, fine wines and coffee to refresh.
Royal Heritage
The Kings Lodge is a building steeped in rich royal history and intrigue.
Built in the 17th century, it was converted to a hunting lodge in 1642 by the Lord of Langleybury who later became King Charles I of England.
The original interior of the Royal Crest and Fleur-de-Lis above the fireplace, still remain today.
The building was later converted into two cottages years after King Charles I. In recent years, the building has been restored with the character of its heritage to a local pub, restaurant and hotel.
